Knowsley Hall is very proud to announce that for another year we have retained our five star gold status for accommodation as awarded by Visit England experts. The inspector was very impressed by the standards set and the hospitality extended by all staff members. Comments included 'Knowsley Hall continues to provide a luxurious standard of accommodation' and 'my cutlet of lamb (was) found to be melt in the mouth tender. Excellent quality and presentation'. Well done the team!

Pure Weddings Photoshoot
Pure Weddings had their latest fashion shoot here at Knowsley Hall. Produced by Lancashire life, Cheshire Life and Yorkshire Life we were delighted to act as host venue for this glamorous shoot. Photographer Neil Hickson took some really stunning images across the Hall and we even braved the cold to get some beautiful, seasonal outdoors photographs. The dresses were all from Pronovias at Cambric Gowns, Mold and varied from sweeping and romantic to chic and crisp. Our favourite florist earth provided stunning seasonal bouquets. We look forward to welcoming the Pure Weddings team back very soon.
Knowsley Hall Public Opening
Knowsley Hall opens its doors once again to visitors this summer and the chance to book on to a number of guided tours over five days in August. Knowsley has been home to The Earls of Derby since 1385, and the Hall, set in an extensive private park, houses a splendid and historically important collection of fine art. Knowsley Hall dates right back to the 12th century, and as various Earls of Derby sought to make their mark and celebrate their good fortune through additions and alterations to the building, the hall today is a fascinating structure, boasting a classic Georgian façade and some extremely fine Jacobean, Baroque and Victorian interiors, including the breathtaking 58 foot long State Dining Room with its impressive carved oak panelling and lofty figurative ceiling.
Knowsley Hall remains one of Merseyside’s hidden treasures; having been open for a brief period shortly after the Second World War, one half of the Hall was then rented to Merseyside Police for about 30 years until 1997, since when the present Earl and Countess have made it their home and their life’s work to restore the Hall to its former glory

WIN AT TMP AWARDS!
We are delighted to announce that Knowsley Hall has won the award for Guest Accommodation of the year at The Mersey Partnership Awards 2010!!! The awards recognise excellence in tourism across a number of areas. We are very excited that our accommodation has been acknowledged in this way. Judges called the Hall posing as visitors and the Hall underwent a rigorous Mystery Shop. We scored very highly in all areas from customer service to attention to detail and cleanliness. The award is testament to the hours of work the dedicated housekeeping team put in so well done team Knowsley! Next stop North West finals in September!!
